Young Arts Students
My youngest student is CJ, 5, and she is learning how to bead bracelets. While her bracelets are being sold in the nearby Bellevue resort, she is learning how to save money. Her cousins, Jhea and Kyle, are making a collection of their necklaces to put them into a catalog for advertising purposes. They are fast learners :)

It is so fulfilling seeing children being committed to the arts. Art really is something that you should mold and treasure while growing up. I also remember starting my art career when I was still a child. I really like the idea of arts, the way the teachers share their talents and skills. Those days were so unforgettable. I was able to meet some of friends there and up until now, even if we are all grown up, we are still friends to each other.

I am glad more and more people especially the younger ones are getting more interested in learning arts. Everyone needs to avoid relying too much on what schools have to offer to them though. It's better to learn from experience. The schools are there so we can learn as a group and learn from other people's mistakes in the past without having to experience them one by one. Even so, we still need all the experience we can get so trial and error will still be one of the best teachers.
