Dear ones, by now the news has gotten around the world about the super typhoon Rai, (Odette in the Philippines), that has wreaked havoc across Philippines in the night of Dec.16 -17, 2021. Here are some of our impressions of "Rai". Rai in Romanian means heaven, but the Rai that visited us 2 days ago did not feel heavenly at all. Quite the opposite. With a wind speed of 240 km/h it caused a lot of damage to people, animals and land. Being in the middle of the typhoon was like "looking into hell with the sound of howling demons," some have said. Bohol was his main target, though he did not leave out other provinces.
