On Samar Island, we currently have between 7 and 8 STEPS preschool programs, which depends on the state of the lock-downs, with 83 STEPS students in total.
In Dalakit (left) and in Tangbo (right), both in the north of Samar, we currently have 24 students between 3 and 7 years old.
| | In the Barangays Baquiew, Bulakawing Gamay and Bulalacao in Tagapul-an, we have 36 students between 3-4 years old, including 2 mothers. We hold 3 or 4 STEPS programs, depending on the respective lockdowns. There are no roads on this ismall island and it can only be reached by boat, which makes access difficult. |

Right: In Calbayog, Western Samar, we have 7 students between 3 and 4 years old. The children are taught in home visits, just like in our other STEPS preschool programs. |  |
