We realize that we haven't sent any updates of our STEPS modular classes for quite a while. As we mentioned before, since the schools are still closed, we reduced our courses to 3 - 4 months in order for us to teach as many children as possible.
We have 150 students, of which 100 are preschoolers, and 50 elementary students, grades 1 - 6. Our three teachers are visiting our students 3 times/week, either in their homes or in community buildings. Most of the preschoolers have made good progress, and after 3 months they are almost in the middle of the 12 readers. For the 50 Juniors (elementary grade students), our teachers use different methods of teaching, as well as different stories. The Juniors have learned to identify letters and are making great reading progress! Here some pictures:
