Aquaponics

For the past few weeks, Manny has been working on a new Aquaponics, made of a big basin, where the fish have lots of space, and bamboo and coconuts as veggie containers. The salads are growing a lot faster than with the conventional method!

STEPS Preschool

We changed the preschool groups to fit the students’ level of progress. In the 2 progressive groups (we have now 3 groups, 2 of them with more progressive students) we concentrate besides reading and simple math on writing and phonics. On the right picture you see volunteers Fiona and Mandy from Manila that came to help for a few weeks.

Typhoon Paolo

Picture
Super typhoon „Paolo“ has brought lots of wind and rain, and uprooted some of our papaya trees. We had to ‘behead’ one of our Talisay so it wouldn’t fall on our roof.

ASEAN meetings

To protect the members of the ASEAN meetings that are held here in The Bellevue Resort, there are many special forces of the fire department and Swat teams in our garden that is right opposite to where the meetings are held.
