STEPS Bohol
Last week we started again with new STEPS classes for 3 groups with about 15 kids each between 2 and 5 years old. As always, the first 2 - 3
weeks are the most difficult, where the children have to adapt to the new environment and get used to a disciplined routine. "These are the wild
weeks", we always say. Usually the toys we use in the first days and weeks are all over the place, the children are not used to obeying and
following commands, such as "Sit down!" - "Listen!" - "Pick up the toy!" etc. They o3en cry out for their mommy, and the parent or caregiver
needs to be close by during these "wild days." Here are a few photos:

volunteer! The last photo shows our parents seminar, where we explain our expectaons to the parents, as well as prepare them for their part in
the educaon of their children. "School starts at home!
