Nurturing young talent: Introducing new groups to our STEPS pre-school program!
It's great to be able to give you an update on our STEPS preschool program, where we have recently welcomed three new groups of around 10 children aged 3 to 4 each. Over the next six months, these budding learners will embark on a journey of exploration, discovery and growth under our guidance. At the end of this period, we will assess their progress and determine the best path forward, whether that is through transitioning into a progressive group or continuing to work with their current peers. Your support is invaluable as it enables us to provide these children with an environment in which they can thrive. We are grateful for your continued partnership as we strive to nurture the next generation of leaders.
Our new STEPS group in Catigbian, Bohol!
It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to our newest STEPS group in Catigbian, Bohol, about 1.5 hours away from the mission. This initiative was made possible by the generous support of a good friend more than 2 months ago. Despite initial difficulties, including scorching temperatures, more than 20 eager students participated in our program. However, due to the intense heat, the number of participants has dropped to less than 10 students per day. Nonetheless, we remain steadfast in our commitment to these young learners, and with the continued support of this dear friend, we are determined to overcome obstacles and make a lasting impact in Catigbian, Bohol.
Cultivating hope: News from our prison outreach!

Here are the latest developments in our prison work. As part of our rehabilitation and self-sustainability efforts, we are providing inmates with seeds, seedlings and soil so they can grow additional food on the prison grounds. We have also recently extended our help by distributing reading glasses to some of the women in need. These initiatives not only promote self-sufficiency and skill building, but also provide a sense of dignity and purpose to the people we help.
Our ongoing food donations for those in need!
Thanks to your generosity, we are able to distribute rice to over 50 families each month, ensuring they have a basic food staple to feed themselves and their loved ones. In addition, we are proud to support an orphanage with rice and milk to feed the growing children in their care. These donations not only provide vital food, but also give hope and comfort to those in difficult situations. We are deeply grateful for your tireless commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of people in need.
