On September 8, we received a very welcome visit by Finastra, a company from Manila. They brought many of their employees, 40 to be exact, to help with the setting up and decorating of our 3 new classrooms that had been rebuilt after the fire in May last year had completely devoured and destroyed everything in it.
To make this even even more special, they invited 30 STEPS students to attend! Activities like dancing, singing, drawing and more livened up the morning, and the highlight was the jolly bee meal for each of the children!
Each of our 3 new classrooms was equipped with 10 tables, 20 chairs, 2 shelves, many educational posters and materials, wall decorations, big whiteboards etc, for which we are very, very thankful! God bless you, Finastra!
