Charity in action – A heart that gives
What a joy it was when our dear friend Chat from Tagaytay near Manila visited us in Bohol! Thanks to her generosity, we were able to provide 70 families with rice, milk, canned goods, and other basic foodstuffs. Her love and helpfulness touched many hearts and brought them new hope
What a joy it was when our dear friend Chat from Tagaytay near Manila visited us in Bohol! Thanks to her generosity, we were able to provide 70 families with rice, milk, canned goods, and other basic foodstuffs. Her love and helpfulness touched many hearts and brought them new hope
But that wasn't all – Chat also accompanied us to the women's prison, where she got to know the dear ladies with great warmth. She donated rice and fruit, supported their handicrafts by buying some of their work, and also gave a personal donation to each of the women. Her encounters with the women were full of joy, compassion, and mutual encouragement.
In the end, Chat said that these moments of giving were the highlight of her trip to Bohol. How wonderful when giving not only alleviates need, but also connects hearts and makes God's love visible!
